JEE Percentile to Rank Calculator

Convert your NTA percentile score to an estimated rank using the official formula.

Uses NTA's published formula — Last verified Jan 2026

JEE Main Jan 2024: ~11.7 lakh  |  Apr 2024: ~9.1 lakh

How the formula works

NTA percentile is not your percentage of correct answers. It is the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or below you. A 95 percentile means 95% of candidates scored at or below your marks. The formula Rank = ceil((1 − P/100) × N) gives the number of candidates who scored strictly above you.
